A 1st half to be proud of
Fosse went into this cup games looking to avenge the result
of the previous week. This is a competition Fosse believe
they can go far in and wanted to show the others that they
meant business. Fosse started brightly after a placed header
from Graham Jones found the back of the net and further
goals from Carter and Morgan saw Fosse take control of the
game. After a handball on the box, C.Carter stood up and
placed a penalty in the corner, there was no chance the
keeper was reaching that. Fosse went into half time 5-0
up and made 1 change which saw Hillsdon come on for Hoegger.
In the 2nd half Fosse started strongly but saw chances squandered
by Hillsdon and Bayliss. The only goal of the game saw Bayliss'
placed shot beat the keeper from close range. Fosse were
pleased that they had kept a clean sheet and can take the
confidence into next weeks cup game against division 5 side
Red Arrow. |
