Fosse turned up at lutterworth hoping that the previous weeks performance would be put to the back of everybodies mind. Fosse got ready for the game in a portacabin but then they were pleased to see the standard of the pitch as they went for the warm up. Fosse were ready for a good football game and they could only be inspired by Robs pre match team talk. Fosse lined up with a 3-5-2 formation and were pleased to find out that they lost last week because the opposition scored 7 goals and we scored none, inspiring stuff.

The game kicked off and it was fosse that took the lead with bayliss getting the ball in the box from a jay header and sweeping it into the corner with a left foot strike. It was unfortunately hat and beaver who scored the next goal to make it 1-1 and this is how it stayed until half time.

The 2nd half began with the same effort being put in by both sides which was producing a good game. It was fosse who retook the lead with the prolific centre back (Ginge) thumping a right footed volley into the top corner from a flighted corner by craig to get himself into double figures for the season. Fosse pushed on from there and jamie capitalised on a mistake by the defender to take the ball inside and hit it left footed to beat the keeper at his near post from 18 yards. Fosse could have wrapped the game up 15 minutes from time when shrek was clean through on goal and couldn't decide what to do so ran into the keeper and felll over. It got worse for him as he pulled a muscle with minutes to go which gave nick a run out. Nick was on the scoresheet minutes later with his only touch of the game as the ball was pulled back to him and he placed it right footed into the bottom corner. This sparked wild celebrations as every player went to congratulate him and tell him that he was now the 'better' cobley.

Good performance by fosse and 4th place is back in their own hands
