Fosse back to winning ways!
Fosse arrived expecting a hard battle and battle is what they did to earn a good 3 points to keep their fourth place. Bayliss opened the scoring, latching onto a through ball and the corner of the net was found with ease. New parks did not take this well and pressed for the equaliser. This pressure led to both full backs being booked, hillsdon for kicking the ball away and bowerman for trying to exchange shirts early. Another free kick around the fosse box led to the equaliser, a poor wall and bobbly pitch could be blamed. Fosse were given a penalty which craig carter finished well like his other numerous penalties this season. This decisive moment of the game came just before half time, when hillsdon used his ample frame to knock down the striker and hillsdon was sweating as he feared a second yellow but the ref kept his cards in his pocket, phew! Anyway, Serdar flew through the air to save the pen and then took the ball in the bread basket from the rebound and fosse led 2-1 at half time.
The second half was quieter with dean putting fosse 2 goals up and knighty scored another scrappy goal to add to his collection. The highlight of the 2nd half was james farley making his comeback, where some of the players were chanting "Who ate all the pies" and everyone was wondering whether he needed a sports bra or not?
