FOSSE MEAN BUSINESS

Fosse got their first win of the season 2 days before this result and looked to put in the same performance again against SGP. Fosse were sitting below SGP in the table as they looked to get back to back wins. Fosse took control of the game early-on and saw early goals from Wayne Carter and Ryan Bayliss. Fosse looked on top form and went into the break 3-0 up.
The second half saw much of the same from Fosse and it took a piece of brillance from Craig Carter to increase their lead. Carter scored what can only be described as a goal of pure inspirational genius. Having struggled to make an impact on the game, he rose like a phoenix from the flames, and skillfully tore through the SGP defence. Leaving player after player in his wake, Carter kept his nerve, gave the keeper 'the eyes' and beautifully carressed the ball into the corner of the net. The goal was one of such beauty that spectators and players alike were seen to shed a tear, believing themselves to be truly honoured to have witnessed such a magical moment. The celebration left a bit to be desired but 1 out of 2 isn't bad. There was then a dubious goal scored by SGP as the lineman raised his flag but the stand in ref who happened to be the SGP manager decided to ignore the flag and allow play to continue. Fosse replied with 2 goals and a huge 6-1 win. This moved Fosse into 5th place in Division 4.

Next up for Fosse is a cup tie against Anstey Hounds.
