FOSSE SCRAPE WIN

Fosse City went into this game with an unbeaten record and looked to continue this trend with an away trip to Throops FC who before this game sat 1 place below Fosse.
Fosse started the game on the back foot with Throops unable to take their chances. Fosse conceded first after a defensive error saw the Throops striker slot the ball home from 10 yards. Fosse were back in it quickly after a great ball from Ryan Dawkins found Ryan 'hatrick' Bayliss in the 6 yard area who slotted the ball home from 4 yards much to the delight of the travelling fans. Fosse seemed to ease into the game early which saw Dean Morgan go off early after a hamstring problem. Fosse then fell behind the play which saw Throops go into the lead much to the dismay of manager Paul Cleary who certainely made his feelings known. Time passed by and it took a placed shot which rebounded off a Throops defender by Ryan Dawkins find the net and put Fosse in to the break with a maybe undeserved draw.
Fosse seemed to start the second half on the back foot again but did defend well and if it wasnt for some fantastic reflex saves by Erez, Fosse could have been down and out at this point. Fosse continued to defend, guaranteed not to let their unbeaten run end. Fosse were starting to create a few more chances as a penalty claim was turned down for what seemed like a decent shout. Froma free kick the ball come across the area beating everybody in its way and somehow found itself at the feet of manager Paul Cleary who seemingly looked lost outside of his own area, slot the ball home from 6 yards out. Fosse took a battering in the last 5 mins but held on to keep their unbeaten record in all competitions intact.

Fosse play Medz FC from the Leicester Sunday League Division 4 next week in the County Cup.
