Fosse get a result but maybe not the performance they wanted

This was the 3rd annual friendly between these 2 sides and the 2 previous games had resulted in heavy wins for Fosse. Fosse started the game quietly and didnt quite get into the groove straight away. The Wildecats gave a very good account for themselves and made it difficult for Fosse to break the deadlock. The breakthrough finally came as a ball in from Ryan Dawkins saw Bayliss smash the ball into the roof of the net. Fosse looked to double their lead after chances from Bayliss hit the bar and Carter saw a strike whistle inches wide. The game went into half time with Fosse leading 1-0.
Fosse came out in the 2nd half and found themselves again against a battling Wildecats side who had been unlucky not to score the 1st half. Fosse pushed on and it wasnt until a mistake at the back saw the ball fall to Hillsdon who smashed the ball underneath the keeper from close range. Fosse were not done yet and carried on pushing and seemed to be in good shape. The game was put beyond doubt after a neat finish from Knight. Wayne Carter came close for the Wildecats and would have scored if it hadnt of been for keeper Erez.
