Fosse drop more
points and lose club captain
Fosse turned up to find snow covering the pitch again and
this time the snow cleared and the pitch was in good condition
and even the goalmouths had been levelled (amazing, the
council did something!). The game kicked off with fosse
starting the game off strongly with 10 minutes of domination
but no goals came from this and at half time it was goalless.
Into the second half and the game was still very tight but
fosse took the lead with Jamie getting onto a ball from
knighty and after having his first effort saved, he clinically
finished off the rebound. It was not long after this that
anstey levelled the game with a long ball which serdar came
out for and unfortunately was not able to get anything on
and an easy tap in for the opposition striker. There were
also shouts for offside but the quiet Cobley did not give
it. The game stayed like this but craig went off injured
after a firm 50:50 challenge with an opposition midfielder
made a loud clatter and it was later found out that he had
fractured his fibia.
Fosse will now be without craig and knighty for months and
everyone at fosse wishes craig a quick recovery and knighty
a safe trip.
