Fosse keep cup hopes alive
Fosse went into this game on the back of a good performace
the week previously, and looked to take this into a game
with Red Arrow who are the division below Fosse. Fosse started
the game a little tentatively and although they scored the
1st goal, Red Arrow soon hit back and put them back on par
with Fosse. On paper Fosse should win this game comforatably
but it didnt seem to be going this way. Fosse then scored
again late on in the 1st half and went into half time a
little frustrated that the goals were not flowing.
It took until the 2nd half for Fosse to take control and
scored two goals to guarantee passage to the 3rd Round which
will see the division 2 teams enter the competition.
Fosse know they are not going to win this competition but
are looking for a good run at least.
Next up for Fosse are Kibworth who have yet to score a point.
