Goals by Fisher, Bayliss and Hickling ensured Fosse continued their unbeaten start after the midweek draw against Niffy Reserves.
Despite calls from Hillsdon for Fosse to impose themselves from the start, this failed to materialise as Fosse were struggling to retain the ball, which all too often presented the home side with time and space on the ball to pick out a pass.
When Fosse did engineer some attacking moves, Bayliss and Fisher were causing problems with their strength and movement.
Mid way through the first half, Fosse grabbed an opener out of nowhere.
Fisher received the ball on the right hand side and slammed a powerful effort past the keeper from a seemingly difficult angle.
The home side responded with a couple of half chances, but Fosse were defensively solid for the large part.
Magna got back in to the game early in the second half – reminiscent to Niffy’s equaliser in midweek.
A long throw in from the right was flicked in past Hoegger in the Fosse goal, though there was a blatant push on Cobley, which went unpunished by the referee.
The same referee was causing Fosse with all sorts of problems with his willingness to give the home side even the softest of decisions.
Despite the set back, Fosse regained the lead with a well taken goal soon after.
A searching ball by Knight from the left saw Bayliss come in at the back post to coolly place a shot past the keeper in to the far corner.
Fosse then added a third goal minutes later through Hickling – Bayliss’ turn from the left resulted in a loss cross, which was spilled by the keeper and to the amazement of Hickling, he found himself a few yards out and had the simple task of passing it in to the net.
Substitutions followed for Fosse with the game seemingly in the bag, with James Farley replacing Maher and then manager Hillsdon coming on for the injured Bowerman, who had minutes earlier sustained a yellow card for aggressively reacting to a poor challenge made on him.
With the clock winding down, Magna forced a way back in to the game.
Hillsdon was harshly punished for a hand ball about 20 yards out central to goal and the resulting free kick was slammed home past the despairing dive of Hoegger.
Fosse weathered late pressure from Magna to pick up the three points, though their inability to retain possession caused them unnecessary problems towards the end.
