Fosse took on Stretton Bros (res) at the home of Friar Lane Juniors on a hot, if somewhat over cast day. Fosse manager Hillsdon again tinkered with the starting line up as he seeks to work out his best XI ahead of the big kick off. Fosse started the brighter of the 2 teams, with Goddard breaking the offside trap and cooly sliding home early in the game. Stretton then came into the game and soon found themselves 2-1 up.
Fosse rallied and clawed their way back into the game, with Morgan's inventive free kick finding the predatory Hickling inside the penalty area to make it 2-2 at the break.
Fosse performed much better this week, with Jager-Bombs a distant memory, and with 20 minutes to go Laywood released Morgan who unselfishly squared the ball to McIntosh, who whilst one on one with the keeper held his nerve to leave the keeper flat on his back the and the ball nestling in the corner of the net.
Fosse then clinched the win as Morgan, who showed sublime touches through out the match cooly controlled a through ball, and buried the ball past the keeper.
Special mention has to be made for Ryan Bayliss who had his own 'hit the bar competition', McIntosh who not only cleared the goal ...... but also the 30 ft fence behind it & Reece for one of the most accurate 'long punts upfield' you will ever see

Fosse played as a team, and with many players desperate to make an impression on manager Hillsdon ahead of the new season, were worthy of the victory.

All at Fosse would like to thank Simon, and all at Stretton Bros (res) for match, and we wish them all the best for their coming season.
