We executed a minor miracle at Newport on August 15th at Newport
Stadium, the combined team finished 3rd in our home match after a terrific
performance on our home patch. Both the Men's and the Women's teams perfomed
well, the Men finishing 4th and the Ladies winning their match, this should
be good enough to secure 1st Division status for another season as the
provision placings put us 6th, one place above relegation.
Newport clearly has the enough talented athletes to compete in the top
division in Wales but has to conquer the problem of traveling to North
Wales if we are to stay up
