The 2001 Club Championships

The Newport Harriers Club Championships were held on 4th/11th and 13th of September at Newport Stadium. They are run a on a multi-event basis for all age groups which includes Under 11's though to Veterans (40/50/60's). The scoring is on a Pentathlon basis using the AAA 5 Star Award scoring tables for each appropriate age group. To qualify each competitor had to complete 5 events including one throw, one track event and one jumping event.
