The boys went on their final trip this year in the mcDonalds series of races to the Exeter arena. Four boys have made their final appearances in the Mcdonalds series. Newport Harriers would like to thank Gareth Day, Daniel Reilly, Alec Porter and Gareth Downey for all their support in the McDonalds series and wish them every success as Junior Athletes.

In their opening events neither gareth downey, matthew reilly and alex leach were permitted proper warm up time or in the case of the throwers normal number of throws. All aforesaid narrowly missed P.B.'s at this time.
