Rhys Lloyd brought his National Young Athletes League career to an end with a double victory at Neath. Rhys a member of Newport Harriers was victorious in the sprinter's "double" of 100m and 200m. The Harriers also bade farewell to Craig Johnson and Matthew Lewis as they in turn brought their NYAL careers to an end.
In the ladies team Lisa Boswell bowed out with two "seconds" in discus and shot and a "third" in javelin. Lisa was ably supported by newcomer Carina Lord, Carina will also be competing at U20 level next year. With a "first" in 300m hurdles, a "second" 300m flat and a "third" in Long Jump Hannah Rogers also found herself in her last NYAL match. The Harriers wish all these athletes success at senior level
