B.A.L. Cup Semi - Finals
The semi finals were held at the Barnet Copthall stadium on Sunday 18th July.
The team that went on the day was slightly under strength from what had been
hoped, but this did not really affect our overall performance. For the first few
events it did seem we were in for a long hard day, but as the weather
brightened, so did our position. Eventually the joint men and women's team
finished in 3rd spot, behind the home team and Herts Phoenix, unfortunately only
the winners go through to the final and because our Ladies are National League
we can't qualify for the Plate Final. We do finish as one of the top 24 clubs in
the competition which is an excellent performance.
