SEWL Aberdare 15th June 2004
HARRIERS RUN WELL AGAIN
The third round of this years SEWL took place in Aberdare on 15th June. Once again the Harriers were well supported as a strong team took to the events. Notable performances came from Rebecca Williams U15 girls 200m
equaling the league record whilst Alex Leach set new league and personal figures in the U20 men's shot. Lucy bath continues to improve with a new P.B. in the U13 girls shot also Jason Leach
U17 mens discus. Making his debut in Newport colours was George McIntyre who threw very well considering his inexperience.
Rachel Conway is well on the road to recovery following her serious injury, showing her competitors a clean pair of heals in the U17 100m. The club also welcomed a new assistant team manager Sarah Payne a great help and supporter at the meeting and without whose help these results would not have appeared so quickly.
