Two pronged attack

Newport Harriers were rather thin on the ground at the re-scheduled 3rd round match. Basically only two of the veterans made it on the day, Colin Bradley and Keith Powell. The previous days competition in Stourport's Midlands League had taken it's toll and with the Ladies also at an away match , and the Welsh Schools Champs the day before, we were lucky anyone was there at all. Most other clubs were also suffering, but Cardiff and Swansea had some of their National League side out and dominated the day. Keith and Colin put themselves about well and scored well just losing out to Port Talbot.
