The Welsh Masters championships were be held on the July 8th in Lechwith Stadium, Cardiff for the last time. Despite recent heavy rain the day turned out fine. There was a terrible mix up in the Ladies entries, which resulted in Lolita Byfield -Moore being unable to compete. Thankfully there were no such problem in the men's events.
