Glyn has been a member of the club since 1974, and took up coaching in the late 70's because (as always) there was nobody else to coach the Pole Vault which was his event. Glyn came to the club late and has been a Veteran for nearly 15 years, yet he has represented Wales in the Vault, gaining his first international vest in his early 40's. Glyn has won numerous medals and broken several records in the Vet's age groups at all levels including World Champs, Commonwealth and UK games. He is the current club record holder for the vault and a mainstay of the League side for vaulting and sprints.
