Newport Harriers are affiliated to the Athletic Association of Wales, so all members who wish to take part in accredited competitions also have to pay a registration fee to the AAW on top of the Harriers own membership fee. Compared to other sports organisations these fees are exceptionally small.

    1. A Social member does not pay the AAW registration fee and is not eligible to compete for the club in any AAW event.
    2. Family membership applies to a couple or parent with any number of children under 18. AAW fees apply to individuals who wish to compete.
    3. Juniors Under 11 must be aged 9 Years or over to be covered by insurances.
If you are thinking of trying out, then simply come along to any training night, go to the club room and tell one of the officials which events you're interested in, they can point you at the relevant coach so you can see if it's for you before you commit to joining.

 

Membership Forms

Membership forms are available from the club house on any training night, just ask behind the counter. They are sometimes available at the door when paying track fees.
