Newport Harriers Club Nights 

Weekly Training sessions

Newport Harriers meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Spytty Stadium, Newport.

Training usually commences at 6:30 and goes through to 8:30 for all athletes, however, we also cater for the Under 11's and these youngsters get priority use of the track from 6:00 until 7:00, and finish after 7:00pm.

This avoids track congestion and allows all athletes to train in safety.

If you want to join in, just come along to the stadium and go to the Newport Harriers Club Room around half six and someone, either in the office of shop will point you in the right direction.

 

 

There are also other training nights locally on Monday evenings, there is a long standing tradition known as 'Gwent Athletes' night at Cwmbran stadium just up the road, where all local athletes are welcome. Lliswerry use the Spytty track for their club nights on Monday, but will allow others to use it.
