Newport Harriers Club Nights 

Weekly Training sessions

Newport Harriers meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Spytty Stadium, Newport. Training usually commences at 6:30 and goes through to 8:30 for all athletes, however, we also cater for the Under 11's and these youngsters get exclusive use of the track from 6:00 until 6:30. This avoids track congestion and allows senior athletes to train in safety.

 

There are also other training nights locally on Monday evenings, there is a long standing tradition known as 'Gwent Athletes' night at Cwmbran stadium just up the road, where all local athletes are welcome. Lliswerry use the Spytty track for their club nights on Monday, but will allow others to use it.
