An Age Graded Decathlon Calculator has been added to the
Multi-Events section, this
will allow you to score your 10 events according to the Senior or
Masters age group |

The old Bulletin Board has been scrapped
and replaced by a new shinny system that is fully
operational.
Users can register for free themselves and post topics into the 9
forums available. If new Forums are required, please email Admin.
Click the option on the menu opposite to enter the new bulletin

The Newport Harriers are a
medium sized athletics club with some 350 members based at Newport
Stadium, Spytty, Newport, South Wales, UK. This site will give you
all the information about the club, our activities, past and
present, our results and league standings, plus many more pages of
information.
We are affiliated to the Athletic
Association of Wales (AAW) and hence also to the British Athletics
Federation (BAF). The club prides itself in being involved at all
levels of athletics, from 9 year olds running just for fun, through
to top world class athletes of both sex competing for Olympic and
International honours.

• Cardiff Stadium
The new Cardiff Track may not be ready now
until late August due to access problems, this will affect a number of
master's events.
Looks like the Master's champs is moving to the
20th July and will be in Newport and the 2nd League match to
Aberdare. |

Midland League Division 4 round 1, Banbury 3rd May |
Newport Harriers embarked on this year’s track & field campaign at
Banbury in the newly restructured Midlands League. Whilst in
previous years the men and women competed in separate leagues, this
year they have been combined into one league.

South East Wales Junior League 1, Aberdare 26th April |
The forecast was not good for the youngsters first match, but the
day turned out to be sunny and bright. The good weather lead to a
really good day's competition which included several PB's and at
least two new league records. Photos now available in the library.

Welsh Junior League 1, Swansea 20th April |
Off to a chilly start down at the University track for the first
round of the hastily re-arranged WJL match. Short on numbers we had
some terrific performances to keep us in the hunt.

Welsh Road Relay Championships, Swansea 22nd March |
This season’s championships took place in gale force conditions on a
flat course that took in the picturesque docks waterfront and
Norwegian Church together with the Port of Swansea industrial roads
and recycling rubbish tips.

Gwent Cross Country League 1st March |
Sunny weather, if a little cold on the hands, shone down on the
Blaise Estate as this season’s Gwent League came to a conclusion on
a course mostly soft going but with stony patches.

Gwent Cross Country League 9th February |
Bright sunshine, gently rolling terrain and soft going made the
fourth Gwent League meeting a near-perfect cross-country outing.
