Newport Harriers Masters

The 2011 Season

So where do we go next after dominating the Masters League and taking our Eight title in a row. Let's see if the changes for 2011 and the emergence of Les Croupier as a creditable opposition will deny Newport making it nine.

New for this year are the addition of the Welsh Masters Indoor Championships, if successful we could see more. Don't forget to renew your Registration, download a PDF form here

WMAA Indoor Championships

The Welsh Masters AA held an inaugural indoor championships in conjunction with the AAW indoor meeting at NIAC Cardiff on January 9th and 5th Match 2011. Seems to have been relatively successful as attendances were good.

Track and Field

The Masters League matches will be held at three venues this year, Cardiff Stadium, Newport Stadium and possibly Aberdare if the track is OK. A Timetable is now available. After last year's showing, I doubt very much if anyone will challenge Newport for their title this time round.

First Senior League is 23rd April Brecon, expect Masters to feature once again.
